Social Media Coordinator
Availability
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:30pm PST
This is a part-time, hourly position with potential for full-time.
Deadline

Revelstoke, British Columbia
OpnRoad is a forward-thinking company. All of our operations are able to be completed remotely.
The Revelstoke team works together in our office each Monday, which has the best view of Mt. Begbie in town. Work from the office or from home the rest of the week.

Overview
The Social Media Manager is primarily responsible for managing all of OpnRoad’s social media channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
All communication must be completed in a timely and professional manner. Beyond this, the Social Media Manager will be tasked with assisting other teammates with ad-hoc marketing campaigns and communications tasks.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications:
- College or University degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, PR, English, Business, Finance, Management, etc.)
- Social Media Management, Content Creation, or Start-Up experience
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Facebook, Instagram, Meta for Business, Google Business, and YouTube
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar, Gmail) or Microsoft Office equivalent
Qualities:
- Keen appetite for learning in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (client-facing)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in line with OpnRoad objectives
- Natural problem solver who enjoys communicating ideas with teammates
Compensation
- CAD $22 – $25 per hour, based on experience
- Part-time position for 3 months, moving into full time
- Ski/Snowboard Pass to Revelstoke Mountain Resort (or equivalent) after six months
- Annual dental coverage <$2,000 after 12 months
- Wage increase after a 6-month review
