Each week we connect for 15 - 30 minutes on a phone or video call. On the call I update where things are at, what is upcoming, and we tackle what needs to be accomplished that week to ensure success. This call also builds a weekly rhythm that paces us towards the goal of a successful sale.

Social Support

New for February 1st, 2021 we are launching the Scale & Exit Club. This membership group is a networking and educational club for small business entrepreneurs focused on selling their businesses. The S&E club costs $960.00 a year to be a member of, and is included for free as part of your full brokerage services.

DATA COLLECTION AND ENGAGEMENT

STEP 4

Company Data Collection

Information collected here is used for:

  • Our Education: It quickly brining us up to speed on your company.
  • Valuation Report: To build out your business valuation.
  • Risk Assessment Report: Screen for any risks which could block us from achieving a successful sale.
  • ​Exit Planning Document: Some of the information is used to create the perfect exit plan for your business.

Set aside 30 minutes for this step.

Data Collection

STEP 5

Engagement Agreement

This is the agreement between our two companies that authorizes us to work as your agent to sell your business. It also highlights the terms of our agreement.

A digital version of the agreement will be emailed to you for review and signature.

STEP 6

Setup Risk-Free Payment

Our compensation model works as follows:

  • First 30-days are free.
  • ​The following 6 months a retainer fee is charged at $1,500 /mth + GST,  and $500 + GST /mth thereafter.
  • Upon successful sale, all retainer fees are refunded to the client out of the brokers commission.
  • ​Upon successful sale, 8% commission is charged on all business assets, and 5% on all real estate assets. Payment is made out of the proceeds of the sale.
  • ​No rigid contracts - cancel anytime.
